Strengths Workshops & Programmes
Below are a few examples of STRENGTHS workshops and programmes that can be used as stand-alone courses or can be incorporated into your own bespoke course that has been tailor-made to fit your needs and requirements.
What is Strengths Development?
We know that when people use their strengths everyday they are happier and report higher levels of over-all well being.
Countless research has shown that when people are happier, as a result of using their strengths effectively, they are more engaged, perform better and produce the very benefits that organisations are looking for – increased productivity, engagement, employee retention and higher profitability.
When we work to people’s strengths, rather than focusing on what is wrong with them, we are asking them to do more of what they enjoy and do best. And as research has shown, using your strengths is associated with significantly higher levels of happiness, well-being and fulfilment.
When we operate from our strengths we feel truly authentic and in touch with ourselves because we are acting in ways that feels true to ourselves.
People who aren’t using their strengths on average are losing 2-3 hours of time a day being completely unproductive!
Every second spent outside your strengths is lost energy and happiness for individuals and lost revenue for organisations.
Building employees’ strengths is a far more effective approach to improving performance than trying to improve weaknesses.
When we begin with strengths-focused thinking, it unlocks possibilities and creates connections.
And according to Gallup every single one of us does one thing better than 10,000 other people.
Do you want to know what that one thing is?

Seeing Strengths through LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®
We believe achieving higher levels of engagement starts with the individual. That means helping them connect with their strengths and gain an understanding of when they are consistently at their best in terms of performance.
One of the quickest ways to do this is through LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology which shows that hands-on, minds-on learning produces a deeper, more meaningful understanding of your strengths and their possibilities. It deepens reflection and engagement as well as giving everybody in the team a voice with which to communicate. It also supports the forming and development of teams and helps overcome issues around conflict and communication which are directly linked to the needs of our strengths.
We know that when individuals have been involved in the intense, creative and exhilarating process of a LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® session they are more likely to feel ownership of the analysis and decisions that have been made. When they have been involved in creating something and having been listened to, individuals are more inclined to take ownership of their actions.
Collaboration is strengthened through listening and experiencing positive dialogue. As a result participants come away with the skills to communicate more effectively, to engage their imaginations more readily, and to approach their work with increased confidence, commitment and insight.
In the words of Plato: “You can learn more about a person in an hour of play than you can from a lifetime of conversation.”
